Generation X. Born and raised in Tbilisi. Georgia, Marika grew up in Moscow, Russia. Moved to New York by the age of 20, lived and worked in the USA for over 20 years.

Received professional education as Screenwriter for Film and Television in VGIK (Institute of Cinema), Moscow, Russia.

Received professional education as Director for Film and Television in Columbia University School of the Arts, New York, USA.

Due to the private matter life circumstances made a decision of not percuing the Film career, and right after the film school ended up in Fashion, and soon enough eventually designed and produced clothing for two self owned designer fashion lines – Dadiani Salerno NY and DADO NY
